Come lead major projects within our Major Works team in Brossard and be part of an industry-leading organization in environmental solutions.
Main Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, your days will be both challenging and varied:
- You will be responsible for major environmental projects across Canada, including contaminated site rehabilitation, dredging, water treatment, and much more.
- You will oversee contractual aspects: budget management, schedule adherence, and alignment with client objectives.
- You will ensure that each member of your team fully understands the technical and administrative scope of each project.
- You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and safety on all projects.
- You will guide the development of complex proposals, estimating costs, and identifying the best solutions.
- Please note: This position may require travel on a fly-in/fly-out basis during peak seasons to project sites located in remote areas.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills
- You have 10 years of experience in environmental projects, particularly in contaminated site rehabilitation across Canada.
- You are an experienced leader with 5 years of experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- You hold a university degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field.
- You excel in contract management, have strong critical thinking skills, and are fluent in both French and English, both written and spoken.
- You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, which allows you to manage data and internal processes effectively for your projects.
- You are a natural communicator and trainer, able to inspire and grow your teams.
- You have a strong initiative and a proactive approach.
